TRU A (Fragments/Chips) of medium toasted American oak can be used both in the must in fermentation and during aging. They bring to the must and to the wines several advantages among these: in fermentation they allow a better sensorial impact of the wood; in aging they produce an enrichment of the gustatory and olfactory notes, a remarkable roundness as well as helping to improve the structure of the wines themselves, releasing in the wine, those aromatic notes of vanilla and whisky, with nuances of liquorice, caramel and coconut.
